NEW LASER ARRIVED – IT’S A BEAUTY!
Our beautiful new laser was delivered in early October, assembled
and tuned by the German Engineers, who came out with it and by
mid-October it was already hard at work.
Michael and I have been experimenting with the combinations of
laser cutting, routing and laser etching that we can now do without
moving the material being cut from the huge laser bed.
We haven’t touched the surface of what can potentially be done!
Acrylic component 25mm thick – thickest we have ever laser cut!
Problem is that we are usually bringing other people’s ideas to life,
so while we are good at making it happen, we are having difficulties
on the creative side.
Why not challenge us…
If you have a design or an idea that involves Laser Cutting, Routering
and Etching, we would love to give it a try.
Here are some samples taken from the new laser showing its
versatility.
On stainless steel, laser etching produces a black finish which
stands out from the shiny steel.

For our commercial kitchen manufacturer customers we are now able
to etch their logos and part numbers on each stainless steel panel
produced, as well as cutting, slotting and punching ready for
assembly.

OTHER NEWS……
ARC – EXPO FOR ARCHITECTS AND BUILDERS.
Architects have often provided us with some of our most varied and
interesting projects. We like the challenge of “Bringing their ideas to
life!” From decorative panels with interesting designs to urban
street furniture and sculpture, we have done them all. We have even
used parts designed to interlock to create 3 dimensional forms while
using flat materials.
